Former Bentley Factory driver, Andy Meyrick, is back with Team Parker Racing at Spa for the official test day.
July 03, 2018, Spa Francorchamps, Belgium. – Andy Meyrick returned to the wheel of the #31 Bentley Continental GT3 today at the official test day at Spa-Francorchamps ahead of the Total 24 Hours of Spa at the end of the month, 26-29 July, 2018.
Joining co-drivers Sebastian Morris, Derek Pierce and Rob Smith, the team finished the day in third in the Pro-Am class.
“It was a successful day for us at Spa and we are happy with what we achieved. It was great to be back behind the wheel of the Bentley and with Team Parker Racing,” said Meyrick. “I’m excited for a heavy month at Spa with both the Bentley and the Mercedes. Testing this week and next should make for a great pair of back-to-back race weekends at the end of the month.”
The test was the first of two for Meyrick who is back at Spa next Tuesday 10 July, and Thursday 12 July, in the #33 Bullitt Racing Mercedes AMG GT4.
Meyrick then returns for the two race weekends, the first with Bullitt Racing on the 20-22 July 2018, followed by the 70th running of the legendary Belgian race, the Total 24 Hours of Spa, 26-29 July, 2018 with Team Parker Racing.
