British sportscar racer Andy Meyrick will return to the United Autosports team for a third season in the Michelin Le Mans Cup alongside Brazilian team-mate Daniel Schneider in 2022.
Going into their third season in the Le Mans Cup together, the pair will continue to race the #32 Ligier JS P320. Taking what they have learned with two seasons with the Yorkshire based team under their belt, the pair will be aiming to improve on their 2021 season.
“I am really excited to be back with Daniel and United Autosports for 2022”, said Meyrick.
“It’ll be our third year together so we have a good foundation of experience both with the team and car, and in the series now. The 2021 season wasn’t what we had hoped for at all, but I am confident we will have a much stronger championship campaign next year.”
The 2022 Michelin Le Mans Cup season kicks off at Paul Ricard for the collective test and then the race on the 16th April, before moving onto Imola in May for the first time in the championship’s history.
