Apr. 9, 2019, Manchester, UK. – Andy Meyrick and co-driver Stephen Pattrick are set for this week’s season-opener in Italy, the European GT4 Championship, first round at Monza. The recently expanded Bullitt Racing team has high hopes for contesting the Pro-Am Championship.
Meyrick and Pattrick will be co-driving the full season in the #33 Mercedes AMG GT4. The pair enjoyed multiple successes last year, including a win at Spa Francorchamps. Both Meyrick and Pattrick attended the recent test at the end of March and are very happy with the performance of the car. Having switched to the Mercedes for 2018, the team feel happy that this year, they start with better knowledge and a good feel for the set up for the car for each of the different tracks.
“Testing went well”, said Meyrick. “Stephen and I are confident that this year, with our knowledge and feel for the car, we can improve on last year’s results, and be in with a chance of the Championship. Mercedes have been very supportive, it’s exciting for the team that we will have a second Pro-Am car, the #66, and we look forward to the year ahead.”
